Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs my whole life. I have raised a pitty and 2 toy poodle terriers prior to moving up here from SoCal. I now have a another pitty and a cat to obsess over, so I very much understand how important your furry family members can be!

Alyssa is a wonderful spirit and true god-send when it comes to petsitting/walking! I have a 2-year old American Staffordshire Terrier with terrible case of separation anxiety (she was abandoned by her previous caretaker). I travel frequently for work and school and have had the hardest time finding a reliable, experienced dog sitter—until I worked with Alyssa. She is extremely reliable, knowledgeable and consistent with caring for my sweet baby. I have worked with her several times and each time she has provided excellent service. She’s punctual, prepared, and professional but most importantly I know that my doggo is always well taken care of. I can’t recommend Alyssa highly enough!

Though I have raised all of my dogs to be crate-trained, I’m definitely a sucker to puppy dog eyes trying to convince me to let them on the bed. I carry out daily feeding and exercise routines for my own pets and make sure to leave out as much enrichment as possible. I’m big on tidy spaces, so toy clean-up is also a daily routine. Home life is generally cuddles while I study.

A typical day
I’m big on trying my best to accommodate for what your pet is used to as well as what you’re comfortable with. While in Davis, my favorite is of course the arboretum. While in Berkeley, the fire trails are always my favorites!

Availability
I’m a full-time student so most of my unavailability would be on Mondays and Wednesdays. I’m very flexible any other day/time, so please don’t hesitate to ask if it requires some maneuvering.I know how nerve-wracking it can be to find pet support last minute and I try my best to accommodate!
