Pet care experience
Before Rover, I worked multiple jobs pet sitting and dog walking. I have previous experience working in a kennel. Previously, pet care was one of my side gigs. I started full time pet sitting on Rover in July. I am playful, fun, and caring. I’ve worked with many different animals of different temperaments, needs, and backgrounds. I’m a firm believer in co-existing with all life forms, and treat every creature with love.

Once again, I was fortunate enough to have Alyssa look after my cat, Miu Miu, while I was away the first two weeks of April. Alyssa stayed at my house and took such excellent care of Miu Miu that I cannot praise her enough. It was especially complicated this time because Miu Miu became ill just before I was to leave and I contemplated canceling my trip. However, Alyssa took the situation in hand and administered meds and kept in touch with my vet, even bringing Miu Miu there once when it became necessary. Besides caring for a sick cat, Alyssa kept the house in order and brought in my mail. Finding Alyssa was the best thing that could have happened for me and Miu Miu. She's exceptional!
Alyssa is so good with Riley. She takes time to understand how Riley is doing each day on their walk and plans their trips accordingly :-)
Riley loves Alyssa :-) Alyssa is so good with Riley - patient and kind with her! I am so glad we found Alyssa - I can count on her walking Riley each week.

I follow the guidelines set by the owner. I will follow feeding schedules, crating instructions ect.. If pet sitting in a client’s home, I will stay overnight in your residence, unless otherwise is preferred. If your baby is used to sleeping with you, being comforted during thunder, ect.- I’m an awesome emotional support human.

-diet, feeding times, and preferred water, e.g., filtered or from the sink. - your pet’s behavioral tendencies, especially pertaining to interacting with other animals and people - daily accustomed habits -rules of the house, e.g., are table scraps a normal? Is your pet allowed on the furniture? - An “in case of emergency plan” -For overnight visits, I kindly request you inform me if there are cameras in the household. I may be a guest, but I ask you to be mindful that this is now my temporary home base for the length of the stay. I ask out of my own personal privacy boundaries/concerns, e.g., changing my clothing.
A typical day
I love to cuddle, play fetch, and go on walks. Im affectionate and love to just sit and “chat” with animals. Sometimes I listen to music and sing to them. Sometimes I read to them. If your pet has a preferred recreational activity, I’m most likely willing to try it out!

Availability
Rover is my current main gig, so I have a fairly flexible schedule that varies based off of current bookings. When working overnight visits, I also incorporate drop ins and walks with other clients. With house sitting, I can provide daily exercise as it can be incorporated into my schedule. I will make time for short walks or moderate play time. If during an overnight, you are looking for guaranteed walks over 15 minutes, they must be booked on top of the overnight fee. I like to keep my prices fairly low, so that pet care can be affordable. Setting some sort of standard of expectation is the only way I can maintain overnight visits at this price point.
