I am an RN with a big heart for animals. My most recent past employment was at an animal shelter to which I interacted with and provided care to dogs of various ages and stages. I even have my own dog who is medium sized and full of energy so I am very comfortable with a variety of dog personalities. (:

I prefer to walk my own dog with a leash and harness to make sure there is appropriate and safe handleability. When we are in walking in public places I pay great attention to my surroundings and her behaviors to make sure nothing goes awry.

It is important for me to know the temperament of the dog toward strangers, children, and other dogs. If the dog is taking medications, I must know the medication schedule and/or any food restrictions.
A typical day
Depending on the owner's preference, I am comfortable taking the dog to the dog park. My favorite dog park is Hap Magee in Danville. I also enjoy going on walks around the neighborhood or playing inside with toys!

Availability
I am currently finishing nursing school so I have a lot of free space in my schedule that I would like to fill by working with the animals in my area. I have 3 cats and 1 dog so I am familiar with the demands of both.
