Pet care experience
I've owned and cared for pets as far back as I can remember - dogs, cats, bearded dragons, chinchillas, hamster, etc. Aside from caring for my personal pets, I've always been the one to call when family members needed a helping hand with their furry (or poky) friends. In 2017 I worked at a boarding facility for about a year and handled the administrative tasks and animal care. This involved walking 50+ dogs multiple times a day, playing with cats, administering insulin, feeding, and cleaning. I've also worked with animals with aggressive behaviors so I do have confidence in handling a variety of different pet personalities.

With unfamiliar pets, I introduce myself to them slowly and as they allow. Getting to know your pets and what they like it my number one concern to ensure they feel safe and secure. Whether that's providing treats (with owner approval), doing a meet and greet before hand, or giving an abundance of pets and scratches. You can have peace of mind that even the most particular personalities will be handled with the same care. Additionally, when coming into a clients home sometimes pet accidents happen. I am happy to clean up when needed and ensure the state of the home is in a safe clean condition before I leave.
