I have experience with dogs of all sizes, including LGDs and giant breeds, cats, fowl, and horses and cattle. I love doing walks and drop-ins, and do everything I can to make your pet feel safe and secure while you’re away from home! You’ll get tons of pictures and updates from our time together!

Alyssa and her family did a great job of taking care of our Bella. She loved playing with their dogs and fit right in.
Normally I get nervous when someone is watching my pet because I never know how good of a job they’re doing. Every time Alyssa was at my house, she always sent me updates including pictures. She even went above and beyond and picked up dog poop (I have three so it piles up quick) and swept inside my house (it was raining so the dogs were bringing in mud). I knew when they were being fed and I always knew they were getting hugs and kisses. I will definitely be booking Alyssa again.
Alyssa is great. She treats my dog like family. She sends regular updates which I really appreciate. My dog enjoys his stay so much he doesn't want to leave when I come to pick him up. Highly recommend!

I will send a message prior and after each visit when I have left your home, and include images of your pet to put your mind at ease. I do security checks and adjust lights as needed to ensure the continued safety of your pet and home during your absence. I also check any outdoor pet areas for security and snakes or other hazards. Feeding and medication schedules are adhered to firmly, and in the event of severe weather, I can attend to your pets to keep them calm and relaxed.

I will check about spay/neuter status and medications prior to accepting any clients, as well as possible anxiety or reactive triggers. Any special routines or routes your pet likes to take or additional household requests (litter box, mail) are also handled prior to confirming a booking.
A typical day
I love spending time with your pets! I have very big differences in play style in my own pets, so I can do everything from hikes to walks to ball to just relaxing on the couch with your furry friend, whatever their needs. I am able to do ground work and grooming for your equine friends as well.

I’ve been happily in the Valle area for over a year now, and can adjust my schedule around your needs. I cannot do overnight stays but can do drop in visits from Howard Mesa Ranch to Grand Canyon Village.
