⭐️ABOUT ME⭐️: I am 25 and I work varying hours as a Behavior Therapist. Although I have my bachelors degree in the sciences from UCI Nursing (BSN), I love working with children and fell in love with behavior therapy. I’m a natural advocate; My area is Mental Health/Psych nursing/Behavioral care (for humans) but I have ALWAYS loved animals, they inhabit the MOST special place in my heart and there is nothing that I would ever feel more protective of. I view animals like babies. I have owned, loved and cared for probably near 100 pets in my lifetime: dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, birds. Currently our property permanently houses 3 dogs and 5 cats. I am also a proud shelter kitten foster guardian. However as my grandmother says, the only thing my husband and I ever will fail at is fostering cats, because we fell in love with and adopt them immediately. As far as experience goes, I frequently sit for dogs with separation anxiety, dietary restrictions, and seizures. I am familiar with around the clock medication administration because one of my (now passed) dogs was diagnosed with heart and kidney failure, and I give kittens meds often as a foster guardian for the shelter. Nursing school has also taught me the formal rights of medication administration. My love for animals is unwavering: I have loved animals that have taken long journeys to finally potty train, scratched me, scratched my furniture, and even attacked and bit me, because I know that forgiveness and patience is necessary with animals who have a history of neglect or abuse, or are young and need more learning to do - not to mention lots of times a bite comes at the fault of the handler/owner! I am so proud to say that I grew to be very close friends with almost all of my Rover client owners, and stayed friends with them for years even when services weren’t needed or schedules conflicted.Some of them were at my wedding. I ADORE all of my Rover fur babies and often think about them even when I’m at home just relaxing.
