Pet care experience
My husband Justin and I have been caring for pets for over 10 years. We’ve been honoured to care for not only our own, but the pets of our loved ones. We have fostered dogs from Raincoast Dog Rescue and have had experience with highly skilled dog trainers to help us care for our own dog that had severe behavioural issues. We are a child-free and currently pet free household that can give your pet the love and care it deserves.

Thank you to Alyssa and Justin for caring so well for our 1.5 year old Lab Trixie! There was some separation anxiety and behaviors associated with that but Alyssa and Justin understood and just rolled with it. I appreciated the many updates and photos/videos … it was very evident that Trixie was getting lots of play, lots of exercise and lots of love! We will certainly be happy and confident to book with them in their home again.
Alyssa and Justin were great with my dog! They sent lots of pictures and updates while I was away and it was so nice to see how happy my baby was with them. We will definitely be choosing Alyssa and Justin for future dog sitting, very happy with their service.
Our dog Leo (Golden Retriever x Bernese) stayed with Alyssa and Justin for two weeks. He settled in quickly and clearly had a wonderful stay with them! Alyssa and Justin provided updates on Leo during his stay to assure us he was doing well. And they gave him lots of walks and attention which he soaked right up! We will aim to board Leo with Alyssa and Justin in the future - I think it was a great experience for everyone!
We had an amazing experience with having Alyssa and Justin dog sit our reactive dog Ollie. We were feeling a bit worried about how he would handle the changes as he can be anxious. However, Alyssa and Justin clearly made Ollie feel at ease and at home! They took him on walks and off-leash plays and were so loving to Ollie that he thrived! I’m sure he considered it a nice little vacation! They also sent us updates, pictures and videos, which we greatly appreciated!

We live in an extremely quiet half duplex in View Royal that we just moved into a few months ago. We have a fully fenced large yard and our own private gate that is attached to the galloping goose trail making dog walks incredibly accessible and easy! We do not have children in the house and we currently do not have any pets of our own.

A typical day
With our close access to trails and parks, we are able to give your dog all the adventure and exercise it requires in additional to our large fenced yard great for playing fetch!

My husband Justin predominately works from home Monday to Friday. I too, work Monday to Friday at the Victoria General Hospital doing shift work. Between our two jobs we are always around to be able to love and care for your pet in any way it needs!
