Hello! We're Jared and Alyssa, a couple of dog lovers committed to providing top-notch care for your beloved pup. We have a playful two-year-old goldendoodle, Maggie, who is always looking for new friends. We love to go on walks, play fetch, play with toys, cuddle, and give lots of pets. Jared grew up around labs while I grew up with mini schnauzers, giving us a well-rounded understanding of various breeds, ages, and temperaments. While we may be new to Rover sitting, we have been the go-to sitters for our friends and family for many years. We have experience watching dogs that require an extra level of care due to special needs, including elderly pups, anxious pups, as well as a diabetic pup. Our home offers a safe and welcoming environment including a fully-fenced yard for your pup to roam around and enjoy. We both work from home (Jared full-time and Alyssa 4 days of the week) so we're able to provide 24/7 care for your doggo including frequent outside and potty time, neighborhood walks, and cuddles.

Huge thumbs up! Jared and Alyssa are FANTASTIC pup sitters!! We feel like we majorly lucked out to find them. They took us on very last minute when my previous sitter fell through very near to our vacation. They have a very sweet dog who took to ours well which was awesome. They sent tons of photos of our dog walks, playing, sleeping etc. and I could tell that our dog was in REALLY good hands! They are thoughtful and king caregivers. I would highly recommend them. We left our two-year-old Vizsla puppy with Alyssa and her partner over a four-day weekend. We're always nervous about leaving Islay with a new sitter, especially over several days, since her breed can be so demanding and energetic. Thankfully, we received pictures, videos, and regular updates every day about our little demon dog -- and even better yet: she got along great with Alyssa's dog, too! It's easy to be leery about how things go with a dog sitter when Islay is so possessive and can sometimes stir up trouble. That said, Alyssa did a wonderful job giving us the important updates and being responsive during our entire trip. Islay enjoyed several walks and adventures alongside Maggie (Alyssa's dog) and it was clear when we came back that she had been exercised with how tired she was the next day. With what is usually a nerve-wracking experience became an easy process: from the afternoon we dropped Islay off until right before pick-up, Alyssa was responsive about all the little things. 10/10 experience. Would book with her again!
We have trusted Alyssa and Jared to take care of our elderly mini schnauzer, Sophie, while we are on 1-2+ week trips, on multiple occasions. They provide tender and loving care for her. Sophie is very comfortable and happy with them and she eats well (usually a problem for her in a strange environment). Alyssa and Jared provide lots of photos and updates. We can see that Sophie gets along well with their sweet dog Maggie, often sleeping together. Sophie gets lots of time outside and daily walks. We highly recommend Alyssa and Jared to care for your dog when you are out of town. Your dog will be happy and you will be very satisfied!
Alyssa is the most loving, responsible, dog/pet owner I know! She has cared for her dogs for most of her life and she puts so much thought and care into what she does I would trust her with all my pets and loved ones! She’s the best!!

Our home offers a safe and welcoming environment including a fully-fenced yard for your pup to roam around and enjoy. We have ample dog beds scattered throughout the house and we allow pups up on the couches. We would prefer your pup be able to sleep on a dog bed, or in a crate at night, but can accomodate a human bed-sleeper if that's what the pup knows.

We request all pups are spayed or neutered, taking a flea prevention medication, and are fully immunized. Please provide the following information: - Meals (times of day, amounts, bowl, and any special considerations) - General temperament, how they get along with other dogs, and quirks of your pup :) - Sleep preferences (i.e., dog bed, blanket, crate, etc.) - Walk equipment (i.e., well-fitting harness and leash) - Collar (with ID tags) - Medications or other needs - Preferred vet and contact information - Emergency contact information
A typical day
We have a backyard that allows for space to play with toys and fetch. We will go on two neighborhood walks per day with the pups to get steps and sniffs in. We have plenty of space in the house for additional play and/or relaxation.
