Pet care experience
Hi! I am currently a graduate student working on finishing my degree remotely and looking to help people walk and watch their four legged friends! I have grown up around dogs my entire life and have many times dog sat for relatives, family friends, and neighbors. I understand that each animal has its own personality and I look forward to working with all breeds and sizes. So whether its overnight care or a few walks a week I would love help.

I understand that each animal has their own personality and set of routines. It is really important that the animal and owners feel comfortable in their care plan, so care would be based on individual cases. However, if you and your dog feel comfortable on trails I would gladly take them on some walking trails nearby that have leash requirements as I know my dogs have always loved those!

It would be great to know the size, training, general temperament, and any special requirements of the dog before hand. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs but a general description to know what to expect is great ahead of an introduction!
A typical day
Currently we have two adult dogs of different activity levels. Both get daily walks 3-5 miles either around our neighborhood or on trails in town or near by. I like to stay on trails that we know have leash requirements especially when walking new animals so that everyone feels comfortable, but if your dog loves a short car ride and the woods I would definitely love to bring them, otherwise a nice walk nearby their home is always a great way to get some energy out! Of course any dogs that love to run around or play fetch at home can also be kept busy and get any extra energy out.

Working on my degree remotely I have very open availability and can work well with most schedules and time of the week or day! The last week of July is unavailable, but otherwise can work on what works best for you!
