This is going to be a long review but if you are thinking of hiring a pet sitter, it's worth it to do your research. You have found the right person, and let me tell you why. People think they are crazy and over the top about their pets, until you meet my family. I mean, it's bad. My parents and my sister and I have not all taken vacation together in YEARS because we did not trust anyone to watch our cats. We would all plan our trips to ensure someone was hope to be with our kitties. When I decided to have a destination wedding, the next question behind "where is the wedding" was "who is going to watch the cats?" We did a TON of research on various boarding places, including our trusted vet we have gone to for many, many years. Truthfully, the thought of the cats who are all used to roaming free being locked in a cage for a week straight made me sick to my stomach. Then I remembered Alyssa worked for a veterinary office. I knew her and her family as we sent to the same dog trainer. (The trainer ended up watching the dog but that was mostly because he's a working line shepherd and the trainer lives on 5 acres). I asked Alyssa and she agreed to watch all the cats. She even agreed to stay in my home while we were gone, which made things so much easier for us. Cats do not like to travel and don't like new environments, and my family's cats were familiar with my house. Alyssa was nothing short of amazing the entire week we were gone. All the cats had different dietary restrictions (some on raw, some on prescription food). In fact, one of the cats was taking a course of antibiotics at the time we left and I knew Alyssa, a vet tech, would ensure kitty got the medicine when he needed it. During our time away, Alyssa would send us pictures of our babies and check in every now and then, and always responded to our texts asking about how our babies were doing. It was such a huge relief to know our babies were in good hands during what was already a very stressful time. I would absolutely unequivocally recommend Alyssa to anyone in need of a pet sitter, whether your baby is a dog, a cat, a fish, a bird, etc. She truly treats your pets like her own, and honestly what more can you ask for?

Alyssa is a responsible young adult who loves and cares about pets. She will take care of your pets like they are her own without you having to worry about them. She will play with them and meet the needs expected. I would definitely recommend Alyssa to anyone to care for their pets!
