Veterinarian

Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Alyssa, and I am a 29-year old general practice veterinarian. I graduated from vet school in 2021 from UC Davis. I have had dogs & cats my entire life, and I love nothing more than meeting and caring for new ones. I have hundreds of hours working in the veterinary field, so you can feel at ease knowing that if anything happens to your pet while you are gone, they are in safe hands with me. I do have a soft spot for the older guys (there is just nothing sweeter than the spirit of an old creature!), but I am comfortable with dogs & cats of any size, breed, or age. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions! I look forward to meeting your little buddies!

There is no better person than Alyssa for taking care of animals, and dogs especially. Having three dogs of her own, Alyssa is currently attending UC Davis (the highest quality veterinary school in the country) for her veterinary degree. I've known her for 8 years and she's the most responsible and loving person I've met. She worked for Pets and Vets in Chino Hills as a vet tech for over a year, so she has professional experience providing animals with the care and kindness they need. Besides, dogs love her, especially pitties! And when you meet her, you can immediately tell youre leaving your fur baby in the right hands.

Alyssa will be attending grad school at UCDavis this fall to continue her quest to become a Vet. She has been raised around dogs and considers them "family", not just pets. She is an outgoing, caring, personable young lady and any dog she comes in contact with will love her. Alyssa is a perfect candidate for your program.

Alyssa is a vet student set to attend the number one vet school in the world: UCD School of Veterinary Medicine. I lived with Alyssa during our undergraduate career and during this time, our house would often foster dogs from the local animal shelter over weekends. She demonstrated an innate ability to connect with the dogs, showed compassion, and cared for them when we hosted dogs. She has also worked for a veterinary clinic for four years and has extensive knowledge when it comes to caring for animals. I would highly recommend Alyssa to be a dog sitter.

Information Alyssa G. would like to know about your pet

Just their day to day routine. Having you be gone is enough of a change for a pet - I want to keep the rest of their day as normal as possible for them!

A typical day

I am willing to adapt to any pet’s schedule. We can take walks or runs, go to parks, have inside playtime - whatever they like best!
