Pet care experience
I love dogs and grew up with pets my entire life. I will treat them as my own while in my care. I have been watching animals (I watch cats and other small animals too. No birds though) since I was 15 or 16. I will make sure they are cared for, have fun and are spoiled a little extra to help ease the missing of their family while you are away. Hey, when you are on vacation so is your best friend! I am willing to stay at your home so the dog(s) feel comfortable and relaxed. I also work in a very dog friendly office and welcome visiting pups if your pup likes people and is used to not being alone during the day.

Alyssa was great. She watched our puppy for a week and it was his first time being watched by a new person. She gave him plenty of exercise and updated us throughout our trip. After our dog ate something he wasn’t supposed to (through no fault of hers), Alyssa handled the situation perfectly and kept us updated as he got medical care. Alyssa was very responsible and took great care of our doodle. We hope to work with her in the future.
Alyssa took such great care of all our pets. We have a dog and 3 cats all who are kinda high maintenance she communicated with me the entire time we were gone to put my mind at ease she even sent me some pictures. It’s so hard to leave your babies but I would highly recommend Alyssa I definitely plan on using her services again.
I am the most nuertoic cat, dog and horse owner ever. Even my family dislikes pet sitting for me. When I met Alyssa and I explained to her how crazy I was she assured me I wasn't. We did a trial weekend and she exceeded my expectations. I now use her regularly. I wouldn't trust anyone else! I love that she follows my instructions and sends me pictures and videos without being asked!

A typical day
It will all really depend on the pet owners comfort level. I love hiking and walking the local trails which I could take your furry friend along with. If you are more comfortable with staying close to home that's okay too. I play in a kickball league which dogs are allowed at. I also work at a dog friendly workplace and could bring your dog with me so it is not lonely during the day (or has separation issues). I also have no problem with snuggling with your pup on the couch and watching TV.
