Pet care experience
Growing up my parents took in every dog they could, mostly adopting dogs who were elderly or had trouble with being adopted. They instilled those same values in me, I love an underdog. I love all animals and when taking care of them I make their needs my priority. Over the years I have pet sat for numerous family members, friends, neighbors, and roommates. When their pets are in my care they feel confident that their furry loved ones are in excellent care. I have also fostered dogs with a rescue in New Orleans. I hope you consider me to take phenomenal care of your precious pets.

Alyssa is angel! She really helped out when I was in a bind. My dog is almost ten years old and he has some health problems, so I’m always picky about sitters, but I would recommend Alyssa to anyone!
I’ve trusted Alyssa with housesitting and dog sitting. I’d let anyone house sit. But I am very selective with who I have dog sit my very high energy jack russell. Alyssa would send photos throughout the day and it was clear she was very present and truly enjoyed spending time with my dog and going on strolls and hikes. Alyssa is also helpful. I told her I wanted my dog to come on command by name and she worked with him on it! It was very much appreciated. My pup loves her and is always sad to see her go for the day.
Alyssa is a caring and nurturing pet lover. Since I work two jobs, my schedules can be crazy and she’s always ready to help out with my dog when needed. She feeds and walks my Bernadette when I’m working late or traveling, and I never worry about how Bernie is doing because I know she’s in good hands. A typical day
When dog sitting I will take the dogs on as many walks as possible and as the owner and dog likes. If the owner is okay with it I will take them to dog parks and regular parks. I especially like taking dogs to Crescent park, Audubon park, The Fly, and Couterie forest in City Park. I will give the dog lots of love and attention, play fetch or tug of war with their favorite toy, let them sit on my lap. Or if your dog is a real couch potato we can just chill out and I can pet them and keep them comfy with company.
