Pet care experience
Hi! I'm from Virginia and now live in Olympia. I have had both dogs and cats since childhood! I have been pet sitting for years prior to joining Rover. I currently have a cat named Scooter and a dog named Bear! I am happy to work with you on any particular needs your pet has! If trusted with your pet, I will treat them with the same love and care as my own. I run on a regular basis so I'm happy to take dogs running if they have more energy and need additional exercise. If you have any questions please let me know! I am very reliable and will make sure to send a full report with photos so you will stay connected with your pet while you are away. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby!

Alyssa did such a good job with my cat! She sent me pictures and updates daily and was very professional.
Alyssa did drop in visits for our cats over the holidays. Alyssa was a good communicator and kept us updated during the visits. The cats seems relaxed when we got home. We would definitely use Alyssa again as a sitter.
Alyssa was very flexible with scheduling, arrived promptly, and has been very communicative. She has done three drop ins with my dog, and I’ll continue to use her services.
Loved having Alyssa care for my cat while I was gone! She gave great updates with details about her visit and multiple pictures everyday. She was even kind enough to care for my plant while I was gone. Would highly recommend her to other cat lovers!

I keep my animals on a routine and am happy to follow any guidelines you set. My fiancé and I try to incorporate 2-3 walks per day for our dog and lots of training. We make sure to play with our cat so he gets lots of exercise.

It’s very helpful to know the dogs temperament, if they get along with other animals, preferred commands, and schedule. As well as if treats are allowed or if there are any necessary medications.
A typical day
I’m happy to take them walking and/or running if the dog is trained for it. Playing fetch or taking them to a dog park if available.

I work remotely and have a good amount of flexibility. I work East coast hours so morning availability will vary depending on my work schedule.
