Pet care experience
Hello! I am a current student at NC State, majoring in Animal Science, on a pre-vet track. I have been around a variety of animals my entire life. I have worked as a Veterinary Assistant at a clinic back home for over 2 years and have recently started a new job as a dog trainer. This being said, I have a lot of experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I am experienced in handling animals in potentially stressful situations and know how to work with an animal that may be upset. I also love animals, especially cats and dogs, so I would be over the moon ecstatic to help take care of your sweet fur babies when you are not available! Alyssa is a caring animal lover! She aspires to be a veterinarian and has been around animals all her life. I have a Basenji who was a rescue and is skittish around most people. Alyssa can put the leash on Zoe and take her for a walk with no problem. Alyssa understands animal behavior and knows how to read it. I trust her 100%!
