Drop-In Visits & Dog Walking Services When you book me for a drop-in visit, your pets get more than just a quick check-in—they get genuine attention, love, and care. I’ll follow all your instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding, giving medication, letting them out for a potty break, cleaning up messes, or just offering some playtime and affection while you’re away. I make sure your pets feel safe and relaxed, and I always send updates and photos so you know how they’re doing. For dog walking, I tailor each walk to your dog’s needs—whether they’re full of energy and need a brisk walk or prefer a slower, sniff-filled stroll. Safety is my top priority, and I make sure your dog gets quality exercise, enrichment, and a calm return home. I always make sure water bowls are topped off before I leave and that your pup is settled and happy. Consistency, kindness, and communication are at the heart of how I care for every pet. 🐾

This is especially important if you have multiple pets in your home. Please include details such as: • How much and how often each pet needs to be fed • Any medications that need to be given, including dosage and timing • Any allergies or special dietary needs • Any behavioral notes or quirks I should be aware of to keep your pets comfortable and safe

A Typical Day in My Care When your pets are in my care, their comfort and happiness come first. A typical day includes plenty of affection, structured routines, and attention to the little things that make each pet feel safe and loved. I start by checking their basic needs—fresh water, food, potty breaks, and any medication if needed. From there, it’s all about engagement. Whether it’s a walk, playtime in the yard, puzzle toys, or just a snuggle session on the couch, I make sure each pet gets one-on-one time tailored to their personality. I always provide updates and photos so you never have to wonder how things are going. And if your pet has a unique routine, quirks, or preferences, I follow those closely—because no two pets are the same, and they deserve care that feels just right for them. 🐾

I’ve been providing pet care services since 2007 and have been active on Rover for over a year with a 4.8-star rating ⭐ I also have dog training credentials since 2016, along with ongoing self-education through online classes, YouTube mini-courses, hands-on practice, and real-world experience with a variety of dogs and cats 🐶🐱 I’m a pet parent myself to both a dog and a cat, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets while you’re away 🏡 I treat every animal like I would want my own cared for—with patience, structure, and attention to their individual needs ❤️ I also have experience in canine and feline nutrition and have helped several pets improve their diets and overall health 🥗 including working through picky eating habits.

Alyssa came early to the dog walking appointment, even in the rain. She even brought collars and leashes. Since she is a dog trainer, also, she knew exactly what to do with my frightened Doberman. She made him feel at ease and me, too!!!She gave me tips to help him and sent me links of products that she has used in the past that have helped with anxiety. I higher recommend Alyssa for both dog walking and dog training!!!!

I definitely recommend Alyssa to care for your pets. I will be using her again. She was punctual for the meet and greet with my dogs. They got along effortlessly. She was ontime for each drop in visit and ensured my pups were comfortable and safe.
