Pet care experience
I have always loved animals since I was a child. I always wanted to be a dolphin trainer and a zookeeper when I was little. That is still a dream of mine, but life has thrown me some curveballs, that has changed my goals/steps in life at this moment. I first worked at my first animal clinic job in 2010-2011, my first job ever, when I was a junior in high school. It was one of the best jobs I have ever had. I decided that working at a animal clinic would be the best job for me until I could work at a zoo. My favorite subject in school was science and animal studies. I went to college and got my associate's in science, and got a bachelor's in zoology and general studies, with a minor in psychology and half minor in scuba diving. I then worked at my second animal hospital in 2022-2023. I loved that job so much because I got to work and do so many things with dogs and cats, as well as many other types of pets. I have cleaned kennels and runs. I have cleaned litter boxes. I have fed and gave water to dogs and cats. I have given medication to dogs and cats. I have given shots to cats. I have bathed dogs and cats. I have taken dogs out on walks. I have taken dogs out to potty. I have done fecal matter samples. I have cleaned up fecal matter outside in the yard as well as cleaned messes including fecal matter, urine and vomit.

Alyssa is a pet owner and that shows in how she treats other people's pets as well. She is caring in everything she does. She really makes the effort to know, and care for, my puppy. We met for an introduction with her dog. My dog and her pets got along great. She responded to all of my requests for updates quickly. She is affordable as well. I strongly recommend.

I have a nice yard and I have a park at walking distance, and safe and nice neighborhood to walk dogs. I have extra leashes on hand, I have treats as well and doggy bags. I have a friendly dog at home, that gets along with other dogs and cats. I do have a crate if any dog needs to be crated. I have plenty of blankets as well. I have litter boxes all around the house and change them regularly.

A typical day
I love to play fetch with the dogs and run around in the yard. I can also play tug of war with the dogs inside and have squeaky toys for them. I would give belly rubs and all types of attention. Cats I would play with them with different types of toys like balls and catnip toys. I would pet all the pets I watch and brush them.

Availability
I am a stay-at-home mom, with both kids at school, so I have the flexibility to take care of pets all day from Monday to Sunday allowing for full day of playtime and belly rubs. Dogs are let out first thing in the morning and many times throughout the day. I do have a dog in the house already, but he loves other dogs and could use the company since we have moved from his friend (my mom’s dog). I can easily separate dogs if a friendly connection doesn’t work. I can keep our dog separate. I have a safe outside leash out front and will sit out there while dogs are out. I would love to make this a full-time job. I enjoy being with dogs and cats all the time. I definitely will make your pets feel like they are at home and very loved.
