Pet care experience
I've grown up with dogs my whole life; I started earning money from my love of dogs by walking a neighbor's dog before & after school. Word got around the neighborhood and I began drop-ins and dog sitting over night in high school. I have experience caring for every size and breed from a 2 pound chihuahua to an 80 lb German Shepard. My own dog is an absolute nut so lots of energy is no problem! But if you're dog is a slow Joe that is absolutely perfect too. I know that dogs are a labor of love but they're worth every chewed shoe and pee stain on the carpet! I've dealt with dogs with special diets, arthritis, tumors, so anything your pup has going on is alright with me.

Some things I like to know about a dog before meeting them are: What is their energy level? Do they like most humans (i.e. do they prefer women over men etc.) Do they get along with other dogs? (at a dog park for example) Are they territorial over their home and family? Do they have any health issues? How do they do on car rides? Anything unique about your dog that will help us have a successful time together. (no breed preferences.)
A typical day
I'm a very active person in my daily life so long walk (and runs!) are a guarantee. There is a dog friendly park less than a mile from where I live with lots of open fields, paved, and wooded trails; but I'm always on the lookout for new dog parks. If you have a park that your dog already loves, we can absolutely make a stop there! Any other toys your pup has a preference for, fetch, tug of war, etc. can easily get added into playtime.
