Pet care experience
** DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK ME ABOUT MY PRICES. I MAY BE ABLE TO HELP. ** When you hire me, you can trust I will try my absolute best to care for your pet the exact same way you do & I will treat them like my own, & mine are spoiled silly. :) ~ SCHEDULE UPDATE ~ I do work & have children that have extracurricular activities. So my schedule can be busy, but so far I've been able to work around it & with my clients to make everybody happy! I am currently UNAVAILABLE Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4pm & Saturdays 9am to 12pm. There is some wiggle room toward the beginning & ending of those times, but thankfully I do have the flexibility to be available at all other times & am willing to do late-night check-ins! ~ ANIMAL HISTORY ~ I have always had a love for animals, all of them - even the ones that kind of weird me out. :) When I was 6 years old, I inherited my grandpa's bird. I absolutely loved him. He practically lived outside of his cage & on my shoulder. Eventually, I got my first puppy when I was 13. He was my little buddy. I trained & took care of him, with some of my mom's awesome help. :) When my grandparents got a dog, we decided to breed them. I helped the mom give birth to her puppies. She was tiny & had 6 puppies. She was tired out by around puppy #3, & she let me step in & help her with the rest. I slept with her & the pups on the floor that night. Once the puppies were old enough to leave their mom, my mom & I decided to keep one of those puppies. I now had 2 little buddies & another puppy to train & care for. I loved it. I even gave them haircuts. By the time I moved away from home (in the middle of going to college), our oldest dog had passed away & I couldn't take our youngest dog with me & leave my mom all alone. So I had to leave without him, & it made leaving home even more tough. We have a family friend in the same town where I went to college & she needed someone to look in on her house & elderly cats while she went away for the weekends. I said yes & successfully did that for 4 years until both cats passed away. One lived to be 16 years old & the other lived to be 23. I'd never heard of a cat living that long. She was very well taken care of. While looking in on a family friend's cat & house, I took in a stray cat that unfortunately had health problems & passed away. A few months later, I realized couldn't stand not having a furry friend around. So I started searching shelters & rescues for another cat to live in my apartment with my fiancé & 2 kids. I've always loved cats, but I couldn't have one because my mom is allergic. ~ CURRENT ~ I got her as a kitten & she's still running around to this day being a sassy pants in the house we now live in. It's amazing - lots of space with a fenced-in backyard. My family & I are hoping to get a dog for ourselves in a couple of months. We'll be sticking to shelters & rescues to find another furry friend. *UPDATE* We got a puppy! :) She is a Dutch Shepherd. You can see both of my family & pets in the photos section! :) I've always loved all animals. I like caring for them & playing with them. I hope I can help you care for your pets in the best way possible! ~ P.S. I even cut my own cat's & dog's nails & give them baths. :)
Reviews
Worked around our schedule and was willing to do a last minute check in on our doggy, thank you! 😊💕
Rebooked again with Alyssa, very trustworthy and great pet sitter!
Alyssa was great with my cats:) One is typically shy so I didn’t expect him to come out of hiding for his first visit with Alyssa but she won him over! I will definitely book her again.
Alyssa is so wonderful with my cats. I know they are being in excellent hands with her. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable/caring sitter.

Information Alyssa B. would like to know about your pet
WHAT I NEED TO PLEASE KNOW AHEAD OF TIME ARE THE FOLLOWING: • Copies of your pet's shots record. • A list of any medications they are on. • Any special needs or quirks. • Your pet's favorite things are • You pet's dislikes or fears - so I can avoid them.
A typical day
When walking or going on outings, I like to explore with pets - start walking & see where we end up (within reason). As for playing, fetch is always the best :) , unless they has a specific game they love to play.

I am currently not working & am looking for a new start. My fiancé & I have always loved animals & fortunately, that love for animals has spread to my 2 sweet children. With that being said, I will dedicate as much of my time as possible to taking care of your beautiful pets!
