I've taken care of dogs for years, as my grandmother has had giant and miniature Schnauzers ever since I was a child that I have helped train and look after. I also have been trusted to feed, look after, and walk the dogs of my friends and neighbors.

Our dog and cat were in great hands with Alyssa!
Alyssa did a wonderful job watching our dogs and guinea pigs while we were on vacation for a week. She showed up on time and all the pets were very well taken care of. She also sent daily pictures. I would highly recommend her!
Alyssa loves and cares for my dog as if she is her own. My dog has social anxiety and isn't great with people but Alyssa is one of her favorite friends and she makes her feel very comfortable. Alyssa is very responsible, loves animals, and would take great care of any pet.
Alyssa is fantastic with my three dogs, including one large, energetic puppy. She is timely, thorough and attentive to directions. All 3 pups love her!

It's important that I learn about your own personal home rules so that I make sure they are followed closely. I also like to know of any risks or past issues to be aware of; for example, if the pets need extra help getting up/down stairs, if they try running out the door when opening it, etc.

I like to know the dog's personality: are they shy, do they get excited or nervous around new people, do they bark a lot, etc. I also think it's important to know what theie expectations are: how often they like to play, where they like to hangout in the house, if they expect treats during certain activities, etc.
A typical day
I love running around with them outside, and giving them love while we hangout on the couch. I love walks around the neighborhood since the dogs are familiar with that the most. I also have experience helping to train dogs so practicing commands or exercises they do is something I can do too.
