Pet care experience
My name is Alyssa and I'm opening my home and schedule to your beloved pets. I have always been an animal lover with two cats and a dog currently of my own; but have grown up with a variety of animals from birds, turtles, fish, cows, to little kittens! Along with being a true advocate for animals, I run a local pet group on Facebook that you may be familiar with called WNC Pet Connect. Daily I help people rehome their sweet babies due to unforeseen circumstances, find missing ones, and reunite lost ones. Helping animals is something I do every day! I am willing to watch in my home, do drop ins, or overnight stays at my home. I am open to majority of animals that may need care. I have a 8 year old son and 2 year old son that are both used to being around animals. But animals that are also good with children is a must! Please keep in mind that I have two cats and one dog. There are not enough good things I could say about Alyssa and Lola’s stay with her! She was constantly communicative, treated Lola like a family member, and even took her camping (after checking if I was okay with it at first, of course)! I honestly almost regret moving for my new job because it means I won’t be able to use her as a dog sitter going forward. No need to look elsewhere: Alyssa is THE BEST!

A typical day
We go on walks, play with toys, have yummy treats, lots of rubs, and even hiking in the forest! We love to chase waterfalls and love to bring our dog along.

Availability
I work full time Monday-Friday from 9:30 AM-3 PM so will be gone during those hours, but also have the ability to work from home if needed. I am free most weekends.
