Pet care experience
I’ve been dog/cat sitting for over 5 years now. I come from a huge family, so when anyone needs help with theirs pets Im usually the one they call. I’ve taken care of small dogs, big dogs, senior dogs, and different kinds of cats. Since I’m a huge animal lover, I love making sure the pets needs are met and they are as happy as they can be! I usually help out with long term pet care if the owners are on vacation or out of town. During that time I play with the dogs, make sure they are fed and drinking water, taking them for walks, and any other necessities. Sometimes I stop by to just let the dog out of the house for a while during the day.

Alyssa is absolutely amazing! I contacted her last minute for a next day drop in, and I’ve never used rover before so I was a little nervous. We video chatted so I could meet her and she could meet the dogs. Alyssa was at my house on time, and let our dogs out, played with them, sent pictures, and gave them lots of love. I will definitely be using her again for walks and drop ins.?
Alyssa has dog sat for my husband and I multiple times over the last 2 years. We use her when we can't take our pup with us when we go out of town. She is the perfect house guest and ensures that our rambunctious boy has plenty of play time both inside and outside with his toys. She also takes him for walks. I would recommend Alyssa to anyone looking for a dog sitter or walker, as she is very responsible and happy to provide all the pups with the love they deserve! We also have two cats that Alyssa would feed when she was dog sitting. She has navigated caretaking for all of our furry family members with ease.
Alyssa is amazing. She took care of our dogs and was so fun and attentive. She made sure to play with them non stop, and send us pictures non stop of what our dogs were doing. I would recommend and trust her over and over again. ❤️

My number one thing when in a clients home is to respect my surroundings because it is the pets territory, and you never know how an animal can react. I love to be open and welcoming, because I want to get to know the pet as well, and as I come around more, they will get used to me. However, the first few days are extremely important. Making sure the dog has water, especially when they come in from outside in the summer, and being sure that the pet has everything they need when you leave the home. Every pet’s home is different, so adjusting pets needs are important!

I love playing with pets! Whether it’s playing fetch or going on walks or playing with water if your pup is into that! I love taking dogs to parks if they are friendly with other animals because it’s awesome to see a happy dog!

Availability
Pet care fits into my daily routine because I have a dog of my own. My girl, Roxie, is low maintenance and just wants relaxation. However, she loves to play outside and play fetch. I like to be active with her because she loves the outdoors so much. Taking her on walks or just laying outside is something that she loves. also, in the summer months is when it’s most likely I will be dog sitting. During that time pet care for other dogs can fit into my schedule as well.
