Hello! My name is Alyssa and I have always been an animal lover. Since I was a baby my family has had a dog. I currently own a rat terrier and she is my pride and joy. Throughout the past few years I have volunteered at animal shelters where I would walk dogs for a couple of hours a week. Along with volunteering, I have house sit family friends' pets. Aside from loving and caring for them, I was responsible for feeding, playing and walking with them. The longest I had stayed overnight at a pet owners house was two weeks. I think it is extremely important to trust someone with your pup, as I have a hard time finding my own person to watch my dog when I am out of town so I understand the importance of finding the perfect person to care for your furry family member. more about me.... I am currently a graduate student, pursuing my masters degree in mental health counseling. Along with being a student... I work as a teachers assistant for children with disabilities. I love exercising and figured this would be the perfect way to get some fresh air and spend time with dogs! I am very responsible and trustworthy. I am 100% an animal lover and will make sure all of you and your dogs needs are met. I can’t wait to meet your dog! I know a lot of great trails to take your dog if you would like and I love going on long walks. This is the perfect position for me.
