I have been a zoo keeper for about 10 years and recently became a new mom as well. I went from full-time down to part-time so I can spend more time with my son and have some more flexibility in my schedule. As a professional in the animal care field it is my priority to make sure any animal under my care is happy, healthy, and thriving. I have a strong training background with many different species at all different stages of life.

I was so thankful to come across Alyssa's Rover profile! She is an intuitive and caring dog sitter who I felt TRULY understood my dog. She kept me updated with photos and brief stories from how the day went, which I appreciated since I was away. As a bonus, she cleaned my dog's bowls before I picked her up, which was a small (yet very appreciated) gesture. Others should not hesitate to request Alyssa to watch your fur babies for you.
Alyssa has been a great dog sitter to my two cats and two dogs. Even though they’ve all had very different personalities and needs, Alyssa has treated each one as if it were their own—with great care, respect, and love. Alyssa being an animal owner, not only understands the details that come with caring for a pet, but she really does adore animals.

A typical day
There is a dog park near my house that provides a great place for dogs to run off leash. I also love playing games like fetch and tug of war with lots of toys.

I’m currently working part-time so I have much more of an opportunity to spend time with your pet(s). I enjoy all aspects of interacting with animals and providing them opportunities to thrive under my care. Walks, play sessions, snuggles, training, I love it all!
