I have been fortunate enough to have had animals most of my life. These have ranged from dogs, rabbits, chickens, horses, cows, and fish. I have volunteered time at a wildlife rehab and also worked a few years at a dog daycare facility that would average about 50 dogs a day. I have a bachelors degree in Animal behavior, ecology and conservation. I have always had a special place in my heart for animals. I currently have 2 rabbits, 2 dogs and 11 chickens.

It would be important to know the dogs behaviors. Anything that sets them off, they don’t like or things they really love. It is also important to know how they are with kids as I do have a young child.
A typical day
Enrichment is important to keep a dog stimulated and expel some energy. This can include going for walks, playing fetch, going for rides, swimming or other activities the owner recommends.

I am a substitute teacher so my schedule is rather flexible. It allows me to arrange my week how I need it. My afternoons are usually pretty open.
