Hi, I'm Aly! I am a certified professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA) and a full-time Fear Free Shelter certified animal welfare professional. Over my six years of experience, I have worked with 20+ species of domestic animals. These species have mostly been dogs, cats, small mammals, common livestock animals, birds/fowl, common reptiles, and invertebrates. I can administer oral, ocular, otic, subcutaneous, and intravenous medications to dogs, cats, avian species, and reptiles. I am knowledgeable and skilled in the management and behavior modification of reactivity, shy/fearful behavior, anxiety, arousal/poor impulse control, resource guarding, and overstimulation. I have worked with dogs and cats on basic obedience, loose leash walking, crate training, and clicker training. My training philosophy revolves around the utilization of positive reinforcement and giving the animal as much freedom and choice in their training as possible. I also have a lot of experience in behavior consulting, especially with animals that have been adopted from animal shelters.
