My house sitting and dog walking experience started at age 8 helping out neighbors. Eventually my family purchased a dog of our own and I helped train and care for her throughout her 18 years of life. In my post-college transition I worked as a professional pet-sitter, independently contracted by a private owner/operator of a licensed & bonded pet sitting and dog training company. I learned the basics of clicker-training to be able to teach basic obedience commands. I then spent 7 years in the military, knowing how important it is to find care for our fur-kids while we are away for long periods of time. I would love to pay it forward to any military families with similar needs! I currently have one dog and two cats of my own. When my dog was a puppy I worked on walking and exercising her every day to provide structure and discipline to develop good behavior. I currently am studying to become a doctor and have volunteered at a local no-kill animal shelter during this time.
