I am a true dog lover, through and through. I currently have three pets in my own house, a 12 year old Shitzu named Lucy, Indy, the amazing tabby cat, and my brother’s dog, Putt Putt. I have owned dogs all my life, have volunteered at various animal shelters and am comfortable around all breeds and types! I am currently a graduate student at the University of Denver studying mental health counseling. I am not working while in school and have most weeks and weekends wide open for pet-sitting. While I’m unable to offer boarding services at this time, I am more than happy to watch my clients’ homes and pets while they are away. I always try to leave my customers’ homes better than when they left them, which means I take out the trash, check the mail, wash the dishes, etc. And, of course I will love and take care of your pet as if he were my own. Think of me as your personal assistant as well as a family pet-sitter while you are away! What makes dogs love me? Besides the fact that animals respond well to my natural disposition towards them, it doesn’t hurt that I might bring a treat or two along with me (with your permission, of course). I let dogs check me out first and get to know me before I make any sudden moves or try to get friendly with them too quickly.
