Pet care experience
I love animals! In 2020 myself and my daughter, with dreams of becoming a veterinarian went through shelter training to become volunteers at SICSA animal shelter in Dayton, Ohio. Our duties were wide range from dog walking, kennel cleaning, cat and dog enrichment and grooming. In 2021 I began volunteering and fostering with San Antonio Pets Alive! (SAPA) Fostering is full time care, shelter, enrichment and training for dogs and cats of all ages. I have personally taken classes on dog training and dog walking. I love every dog and cat that I meet. Getting to know each animals unique personality has brought me so much joy. A dogs love is unconditional and that’s not something I take for granted.

Alyson was terrific with our cats. We really appreciated hearing how they were doing and getting pictures of them. Great at communicating, responsible, reliable, and cared about the critters, even getting the shy one to warm up and the grouchy one to play.

I have a fenced in yard, 1 friendly giant breed dog, 1 small elder dog and 2 dog Savvy cats. I have room for extra crates, dog beds, toys for enrichment, various sizes dog dishes and 5 humans that love to play, snuggle and give belly rubs

A typical day
Dogs are the most wonderful creatures on earth. I am very good at reading a dogs personality and knowing what they want/need out of each visit. Some dogs love to run (I love to run too), some dogs just want to chill and get belly rubs. A typical visit includes a ton of attention to each pup, play time, feeding, potty breaks, loving and training if needed.

Availability
I am work from home mom of 3 (plus 2 dogs, 2 cats and a bearded dragon) I am available throughout the week for dog walking, drop ins, potential play dates and some weekends for boarding.
