Ever since I could remember I had a passion for animals of all kinds. My first job was working in a kennel at an animal hospital and from there I never stopped. I quickly became a vet assistant. I loved every minute of it. I remained a vet tech for 8 years. I then went on to work as a manager at a pet supply company for 3 years. I then decided I wanted to be home with my kids but also wanted to do something with animals. I started doing research and learned a lot about shelters. I wanted to rescue the furr babies in need. I did this for many years. I would drive to different states where doggies were timed on there lives. I would bring them home get them all the medical attention they needed and they would live with me until a forever home came along. A huge plus for me was when they were placed in a great home I was asked to pet sit my (what I called my foster kids) . The travel was becoming a bit much and I was unable to do it as much but I continued to pet sit. I have over 15 years of experience. I treat all furr babies no different then I would treat my own children. If your baby stays with me while your away I will follow your rules, but if its ok with you I let them pretty much make them selves at home. If they want to snuggle on the couch or sleep in the beds that a huge plus for us. I will only watch for one family at a time but if you have multiple pets I can work with you no problem. I will sometimes make an acceptation if an owner and there pet fell into a situation that a sitter is needed. I will only do this if both owners and pets are ok with it. My biggest concern is the comfort for the pets as well as the owners. We will go on many many walks through out the day. I specially love walking the trails in the forest preserve. I am a stay at home mom and someone is usually home so your pet is never left alone. My family is just as crazy about the fur babies as I am and love to play and cuddle with them as well. I look forward to speaking with new owners and meeting new fur babies.
