Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs as a child; and when my mom moved in with us, we gave her a Westie to keep her company. She has since passed away, but we took care of "Sachi", our Westie, until she passed away in 2021. I enjoy walking/hiking, so you may be assured your dog will receive exercise and loving attention.

I have a fenced yard in which your dog may play and go potty. If needed, I will make sure they are fed and have a comfortable area in which they may rest. If your pet needs to be watched in their own home, I will follow instructions that are given for your home; walks will be included.

Information Alysia P. would like to know about your pet
I do prefer smaller/medium dogs. Any breed is fine; when we were looking for a personal pet for our family, I did lean towards terriers. My hope would be that the dog I pet sit would be child(ren) friendly as there may be times my grandsons will be with me. I would like to mention that even though my career has not been a "professional pet sitter" (I was an executive admin assistant), my commitment to taking care of your dog will be No. 1. I have an excellent work ethic; you will be able to count on me to love your dog just like you do.
A typical day
There are neighborhood trails around my home to where I would walk dogs; and if the dog walking needs to be in your neighborhood, I would find places nearby to walk your dog. Because we have a fenced-in backyard, your dog will also be able to have freedom to roam, run, and play there.

Because I am retired, I am free to dog walk and pet sit during the day at my home (or your home). At this point, I am not boarding dogs overnight.
