Pet care experience
I've had dogs in my life since I was born, from Golden Retrievers to a Dalmatian to even a Great Pyranees! Growing up, I was our family's designated dog-walker (and runner), which grew into an adoration that extends to this day. In terms of specialty care - I have experience caring for an elderly dog on hospice, so I'm familiar with the challenges associated with aging pups. Additionally, I am strong and feel equipped to handle large dogs, which I know can sometimes be a concern :) I live across from Lafayette Park, which has a lovely dog park, and am familiar with other wonderful outdoor spaces in the city as well. I have a vehicle and am comfortable transporting pets if needed. I’m currently a Cat Mom with 2 middle-aged cats at home, so I am experienced in looking after kitties as well. Love snuggling up on the couch together. I am familiar with several animal hospitals and feel comfortable recognizing an emergency, should there be one. I'm a former registered EMT, so although my experience is with humans, I am handy with medical care and injuries of all kinds. I hope to meet your furry family members soon!

A typical day
I love opportunities to engage your dog in their favorite activities, whatever they are most comfortable with you, or even try something new! Whether that be a walk around your neighborhood park, some play time in a dog park, an excursion to a beach or trail, fetch, or just some nice cozy time relaxing together and keeping your pup company. I'm a very active person and am open to doing hikes or runs if your dog is an especially high-energy adventurer!

Availability
Based in SF, but attend school north of the city full-time during the week, so my sitting service area is wide. I do the majority of my Rover-ing in the Marin area and SF. Sitting: I am in school during the daytime a few days a week. Could be at your home in the morning, evening, and overnight. Friday to Monday no limitations. I tend to only accept stays of no greater than 6-7 days in length. Dog walking & check-ins: my availability varies by day sometimes due to school, so please inquire and I will respond promptly. I keep my Rover calendar very up to date, so it should be accurate! Feel free to ask me directly about other availability or requests. I am sometimes able to accommodate. May be open to opportunities outside of my designated service area.
