Alyiah is a well meaning person but she is either not a dog-person (like she claims) or she does not have the bandwidth to care for one (also what she advertises). We left our pet chihuahua with her for 10 days and it was quite an ordeal to connect and communicate with her. She does not respond to messages for a day or more and when she does it is a cryptic one-line message. Our pet was not eating so we were naturally worried for him. But despite repeated messages from overseas and requests to either receive a picture or a quick call, she did not respond. When we went to pick our pet, what we saw was appalling. The bed had puke all over it, he had been drinking water from the rubber casing despite the fact that we left bowls with it, the harness was missing and the leash was on the collar. The food bowl was so filthy - we couldn't believe anyone would have left it that way for even an hour. I reached out asking about the missing harness but as expected, received no response. We pretty much had to sanitize everything and buy a new bed and harness urgently. I would not recommend anyone leaving their pet with Alyiah and would most certainly not utilize her services for our pet again in the future.
