Pet care experience
I’ve been walking my dog almost everyday since I was 12, and I’ve learned more since then. My dog is now a senior with allergies, so I’ve gained more experience on how to provide the best care for him and others. I’ve also taken care of family members cats. Each cat has their own personality and boundaries that I’m quick to pick up in.

Aly took care of my puppy Xocolat, at 1 yr old with some separation anxiety AND recovering from neutering, I know he can be a handful at times, but Aly took very good care of him. She was attentive and shared with me daily updates and pictures. She is a great sitter. And Dante, her dog, is such a goober! Xocolat loved spending time with them. I will definitely be using her services again in the future!

Over the last couple of years, I have been learning more about dog enrichment. Snuffle mats, box shredding, frozen carrots, and lick mats have been a favorite with my dog. I prefer to walk later in the day or before it gets too hot so walks are nice and cool. Lately, I’ve been adding a morning walk with my dog to help with his separation anxiety before I leave for work. I usually take a different route each day for new scents. We always do tick checks after walks just in case 😉. My dog likes a routine, so I’m happy to adjust for whatever your dog needs on their schedule. Each dog has their own communication style as well, and I’m usually pretty quick to pick up on these. As the parent, any help or information is always appreciated, so your pet can have the best care possible.

A typical day
Typically a day will start with going outside or on a walk. Breakfast will be served after coming in. We would hang out for little while during the morning and afternoon. About late afternoon, we’d go for a longer walk, and dinner would be served some time afterwards. Nights are usually calm and quiet unless the pets need a bit more activity. I enjoy enrichment activities like lick mats, snuffle mats, puzzles, box shredding, and more! For walks, I like to try to find cooler areas with more grass available.

Availability
I currently work part-time in DTLA M-F that is close to home. I also work part-time on campus a couple weekends a month. The weekends I work should be blocked off in my schedule. I also attend classes at USC once a week. I have time to care for and walk pets before and after work. I’m very much a homebody, so I like to hangout with my pets most nights.
