Pet care experience
I have been around pets almost my whole life and have experience with dogs, cats, rodents (rabbits, rats, mice), and horses. I have had dogs of my own for the past 15 years and compete, train, and teach in a variety of dog sports (flyball, agility, disc, dock diving, nosework, tricks, herding). I'm happy to take care of your high (or low) energy pup in my spacious yard with a secure fence. I have three active dogs of my own (a Border Collie, an Australian Cattle Dog, and a Border Whippet). They get along with most dogs but in the event that there is an issue, my house can be easily sectioned off so your dog will still have lots of space and personal play time. These days I primarily work from home and rarely have to go in to the office. If I do, it is only for a few hours. Your dog will be treated with kindness and with force free training/handling methods.

Aly is always attentive to all of Daisy’s needs and sent frequent updates throughout our trip. We trust Aly with our pup whenever we are out of town!
Aly was AMAZING! We just adopted a res dawg about 6 weeks ago. We haven’t left him in the care of anyone since. He is terrified of everything, but Aly worked with him on one of those fears (fear of leashes) during his stay. When we picked him up he was so excited to see us and super tired!
Aly took wonderful care of Daisy. She kept us updated with daily pictures and videos and it was clear Daisy had a wonderful experience. We will definitely be using Aly again and are so grateful for the amazing care she took of our puppy!

I have a fenced-in yard and three dogs for your dog to play with. Dogs are introduced slowly to my pack and will have access to house and yard during the day. They will get several play sessions daily and a walk if it’s not too hot or cold. At night, visiting dogs are kept in an xpen or crate with a bed, water, toys and a chewy if supplied.

Most of my experience is with herding breeds but I am open to all. I like to know if your dog is dog friendly, has any food allergies, or if there are any special needs or requests.
A typical day
Walks around the neighborhood, lots of backyard play time (fetch, tag) with me and my dogs, trick and agility training if requested. Dogs may also get some enrichment in the form of a food toy or activity feeder. I’m savvy with dog behavior and will make adjustments as needed for your pup.

I mostly work from home these days and have a fairly flexible schedule. I never have to go on to the office for more than 4 hours.
