I have a pet dog and cat while still back in the Philippines ever since I was a kid. I love caring for them because they're a bunch of goofballs (and so am I) and a bunch of stress reliever. Whenever I see my friend's dog, I automatically ask if I can pet and play with them. It's just how I was raised; caring and giving love to pets. I don't have professional experience about them but I understand dog people because I am one of you as well! I think that's all that matters; to have the confidence and relief that your dog sitter is one of you and they just love hanging out with your companion and having fun with each and every one of them all day long!
