I have tried several sitters since I moved to Boulder and finally was relieved to discover Althea! She is responsible and organized and my cat loves her. She sends pictures and updates and offers to do extras if needed. I felt safe and secure leaving my kitty with Althea and came home to a happy cat and a clean home. I’ll be using Althea from now on!

Althea is the most intuitive, responsible, and attentive caretaker of animals that I've ever met. Her background growing up on a ranch in Wyoming and lifelong experience with riding horses has clearly instilled in her a rare and deep understanding of animals, how they express themselves, and all that they might need. This is evident every time she interacts with an animal as a general matter, but is also just a consistently striking feature of her relationships with her dog Luna and cat Zio. She takes her responsibilities as a pet parent incredibly seriously, anticipating and attending to their every needs, and she has also used her profound connection with animals to train them both to be the most well-behaved, obedient, and sociable pets I have ever met. Althea is well-known for these gifts, and people consistently turn to her for advice on and help with raising and taking good care of their own pets. Anyone would be very lucky to have her as their pet's caregiver.
