Pet care experience
I can't remember a time in my life when I was not surrounded by pets. From the four dogs my family has had across my life to every one of my roommates having a pet, I have been loving and helping care for furry friends. The past handful of years I have been pet sitting for family and friends anywhere from checking in on a friends cat to boarding a family friend's dog for a week. My roommate has a loving and friendly border collie who loves to make new friends and has been great with every Rover friend we've had. I look forward to caring for your fur babies in a safe and pet-loving environment!

I've lived with Althea for the last year and a half and she has treated my dog like her own! She always follows any directions I give her to a T and never fails to make my dog feel loved. Whenever we get home, my dog runs to Althea's room to see her because she loves her so much. Althea also grew up with dogs and has experience with dogs of all sizes and ages. Can't recommend her enough!
Althea has done a great job at watching my 50 lb. English bulldog named Gus. Gus is such a sweet boy, but can be challenging to take on walks as he pulls very hard. Althea has had no trouble (and has not complained) about his fierce desire to pull on his leash. She is patient, kind and extremely reliable. I'd even trust her to watch my 3-year-old daughter :)
Althea is a wonderful sitter for my precious Blue Heeler. She cares for her as if she were her own 4-legged little buddy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Althea to anyone looking for a loving and reliable pet sitter. Althea is amazing!

I am in walking distance to a dog park and my apartment has a small fenced in area for pets too. My roommate's loving and friendly border collie, Ivy, loves making new friends and has been great with every Rover visitor in our home.
