Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a kid! Back home, in Greece I have a beautiful Labrador aged 11. He is my whole life, having to come here to study and say goodbye to him was the hardest thing I have ever done. I have a strong connection with all animals and I love spending time with them. Friends and family have also relied on me to dog sit from a very young age. Having a big dog has made me realise the responsibilities involved in having a pet and the bonds that you create with them are so special and strong.

I have a relatively big flat which I share with 3 people who all love pets and especially dogs. I think it’s is more than enough for a small-medium sized dog. I also live next to parks which makes it easier and more fun for the dog since I would be able to take him/her for walks regularly.

It is really important for me to know the character of the dog whether he/she is friendly so that I know the way I should approach each dog. I also would like to know his/hers favourite things to do so that I can plan ahead for them to have the best time staying with me.
A typical day
Since I have a very energetic dog back home I know that they require a lot of exercise and it is really important for them. Here I live close to many parks which are easily accessible and we can go to have picnic dates and play days since they weather allow us to do so. I love Brandon Hill and College Green for morning and afternoon walkies. However the typical day will always depend on the dogs needs and abilities!

I am attending university which means that I still have plenty of time to take care of doggies and cats during the week and especially during the weekends because I can make my own schedule around each dog’s needs. I am available for day and evening care!
