I have a true love for dogs! I think that when their owners are gone it is very important for them to feel safe, cared for, and loved like their owner would. I have pet sat for neighbors, friends, and people I was recommended to. I have been watching other peoples animals for about 5 years. The pets I have looked after have included dogs, cats, and reptiles. I have dog sat from small dogs to huge dogs along with puppies to elder dogs. I have stayed overnight with dogs as well as daily check-ins and daily walks. I think that each dog has their own personality similar to humans and that they should be cared for as a family member.

I have three dogs, one of which is a puppy and one that is so old he can barley walk. I get nervous leaving my dogs alone with a dog sitter overnight but Alorah gave me no worries. I was sent multiple pictures when I was on my trip along with updates. My oldest dog is who I’m most concerned about since he needs extra care from his back legs going out. Alorah was very encouraging with him and interacted with him the way you should with an old dog. She adapted to what they each individually needed. Thank you Alorah! We will continue to call whenever we are out of town.
Alorah is a great fit! She is very sweet and genuinely cares about my dog. I have called her last minute and she still makes arrangements to be able to watch my dog. I recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter. Very respectful, very caring, and very energetic.

I think the most important task is maintaining safety as well as their normal schedule/routine. I will follow the rules outlined for each job and may ask questions to make sure that your pet is being taken care of to the best of my ability. I will interact with your dog and establish trust as well as a connection so when you are gone your dog won’t feel totally alone.

Please notify me if your dog has any special requests so I can best accommodate them. If they are not friendly with other dogs I will need to know that as well for when we go out in public on walks. I will not be combining time with other dogs so when you book with me I can give my undivided attention to your furry friend.
A typical day
I love to go on walks with dogs and explore for however long they feel fit! We will enjoy playing games together and watching movies at night. I love giving head scratches as well as just hanging out with dogs.

I have a part-time job to where I work from home and usually have meetings via zoom. I am also currently a student but have online courses. I can adapt to different schedules with the flexibility of my job and school.
