Pet care experience
I recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and moved to the city where I live alone in a very large studio apartment perfect for doggos. I have owned dogs all of my life and think people who don't own dogs are missing out on the best source of love out there. I really connect with animals, understand them and have learned everything there is to know about them from reading Cesar Milan's books to care for my own. I have the convenience that my day job is just one block away from my home in midtown east and can also work remotely. I would love to have your dog around to keep me company and to remind me to take a break by going for a walk every couple hours. I know how jarring it can be for them when mom/dad go away for some time, so I think my role is to not only care for their needs but also to keep them distracted and provide them with enough love to keep their moods up during your time away. :)

Alonso is the BEST! I was a little nervous because it had been a while since we left Tortellini with someone over night, but he had a blast! Alonso made me feel at ease by sending photos and giving me updates. I could tell Tortellini felt at home and was given lots of love. I cannot recommend Alonso highly enough! My energetic pup Cooper had an amazing week with Alonso - he got lots of attention, cuddles, exercise, and even came home with some new toys and had learned some new tricks (commands)! Alonso was incredibly communicative and very flexible with my schedule. He took great care of Cooper and made him feel right at home. I would highly recommend Alonso - Cooper cannot wait to stay with him again! Thanks so much Alonso!

Hi everyone, I am Stella a VERY spoiled English Bulldog. My Mom needed a place for me to stay with very little notice. Alonso helped us out. I have a new friend! He took such great care of me. He even bought me my favorite treats carrots ?. Everyday he cleaned my skin. I have very bad allergies. I do not want to rave too much because then he will be booked when I want to stay. Let me know if your dog is shy, protective, tricky to handle, etc... that's totally ok! Their quirks and personalities are what makes them so unique and much better pets than fish! I love all breeds but have a recent obsession with Italian Greyhounds, so if you have one... please let me care for him/her!
A typical day
I usually spend my weekends at Central Park reading and exploring and love to have doggos along for company. My favorite place to walk them during the week is Humboldt Dog Park by the East River where they can be given some freedom to play around with others (if they are about that, of course).
