We chose Rover as a last minute alternative since we were going out of town and couldn’t have pets where we were going. Throughout the stay the sitter was good about communicating every other day and sending us pics of our pup. She told us he was very happy and getting along with other pets she was sitting. When we went to pick him up he was brought out on his bed. He wasn’t as excited to see us as he normally is and seemed a bit distressed and kept whining, but we assumed it was due to the amount of time he was away from us and we thought he was just confused. When we got home we put him in the bath and noticed the water was running a reddish brown color. My first thought was “oh, he’s full of dirt” and I continued drenching his coat and noticed the water kept running red, so I got concerned and started inspecting for injuries. I lift his little legs up and notice a bunch of black dots on him so I shampoo and begin to notice a bunch of fleas crawling all over him. My poor baby was INFESTED with fleas. He had scabs all over his body and dry blood everywhere. He was there for a total of 5 days! I can’t imagine the pain he was going through. It took us about 3 hours to get rid of the fleas. He went straight to sleep and slept for about 8 hrs straight and it was probably his first time he was able to rest since being there. This was our first sitter experience and we will never use them again! We don’t recommend these sitters!

Alondra was quick with response for a last minute stay, which was very helpful. When I asked for a photo / update of my dog I was sent a blurry photo taken over a gate stating “he wouldn’t stop moving”, which he is a quite active dog but the photo looked as if there was little attempt. Morning of pickup I received a message that I had to either come early to pick him up or later in the afternoon due to plans she had, which neither was during the agreed scheduled pickup window and was not possible do to my commute. She left and had a relative meet me at the house to pick up my dog. Alondra was nice and
