I have known Alma Greer for nearly a decade and she was the first person I had pet sit for me. She has watched both my cats over the past years and even help me rescue a bird and release it, after she nursed it until it was comfortable to return to the wild. Alma was an easy selection, first, because of her passion for animals, both domestic and wild. She has also shown her expertise and patience with individual "personalities" of animals. With my affectionate cat, Pops, she knew to give him affection, yet respect his love for the outdoors. With my timid and temperamental cat, Emma, she knew how to give her time to warm up and develop a friendship. Whenever I was away, I would rely on Alma to follow through with the needs of my pets and she was happy to do so on many occasions. Through the years that I have know Alma, she has owned a variety of pets. Besides her dogs, she has had lizards, birds and has handled horses. She has an amicable temperament and is considered to be more mature than most people in her age range. She is temperate and considerate. She will always be someone I will trust with my fury loved ones.
