Pet care experience
I have been taking care my friends, family, and co-workers dogs for years. I've owned dogs most of my life and have spent a lot of time learning about dog training and care to give my dog (and yours!) the best life I can provide.

We had a wonderful experience leaving our dog Willow with Alma! She was very communicative before and during the booking which always makes the Rover process feel easier and more reassuring. Alma’s dog, Birdy, is super sweet as well. Willow seemed comfortable right away and according to Alma settled in more as the day went on. Great yard, deck for doggie lounging and overall set up from the house (super easy to see the yard from most parts of the downstairs). We will definitely book again. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience with Alma, who invited our Whoopie into her home and family. When possible, Alma also arranges a meet and greet before the stay to ensure a good fit. Thank you so much Alma! We hope we can meet again and reunite dogs and people.
Alma is an awesome, reliable and experienced dog sitter! We needed our puppy boarded last minute and she provided exceptional care. She is TRULY a dog whisperer and her fenced-in yard and job working from home is an added bonus. After getting to know Alma I could see she has extensive knowledge and experience. Additionally, she has great communication skills as she kept me updated with daily pictures and messages, giving me peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend Alma for all your pet sitting needs!
Alma graciously cared for my pup consistently for five years. She is consistent, reliable, commutative, and most importantly loves dogs. I have a large fully fenced in back yard - with a full view of the yard through a large slider door. My own dog, Birdy, is a four-year-old hound mix who enjoys the company of other dogs. In addition to Birdy, we have an under-one human puppy. She doesn't know what dogs are but she likes Birdy's black and white spots.

What type of exercise does your dog prefer or are they more of a couch potato? Let me know a little about your dogs likes and dislikes. I am happy to accommodate - every dog is unique and has their things :) Lastly, I'd appreciate knowing what you do and don't allow so I can reinforce positive behaviors and not encourage any undesired habits.
A typical day
A typical day would include 2-3 walks, as well as playtime in our fenced-in backyard. Your dog can be let outside anytime for bathroom breaks or sunny naps. I also enjoy taking my dog on regular walks at local trails & beaches (to be discussed with the owner in advance, of course!) If your dog likes to go for runs I would love some company - my own dog prefers a slower pace. Of course your dog can opt-out of any and all activities :)

I work from home as a product designer. My work gives me plenty of flexibility to walk, play with, and tend to your dogs needs as I am home almost all the time. I am available weekdays and weekends.
