Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Allyson, and I’m a stay-at-home mom hoping to pet all the dogs and be tolerated by all the cats! As a volunteer adoption counselor and kennel sitter at the Nebraska Humane Society, I received specialized training in animal care and behavior. I have also nurtured my own personal menagerie for over 30 years—dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, hermit crabs, you name it.

Allyson and Zach took absolutely wonderful care of Auggy for 2 weeks while we were in Ireland. We couldn't have asked for a better home or sitter for his care. Allyson managed his medical issues like a professional. We had no worries and enjoyed loads of photos and updates during our trip. There was no adjustment time when returning home...he was healthy, happy and loved! Thank you again, Allyson!

Pets staying in my home will enjoy a fully-fenced yard with plenty of room to run (and poop). I have three kiddos, ages 13, 3, and <1, who will never be unsupervised around pets. We have a very lazy bichon/shih-tsu mix named Sadie, a tuxedo cat named Carl who thinks he’s a dog, and a goldfish named Titan Finn. Our fur babies can be kept separate from your pets upon request.

A typical day depends on your pet! High-energy pets can expect plenty of walks and games, but I’m happy to cozy up with your low-energy friend as well. Everyone gets plenty of pats and praise.
