Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of family and friend’s pets since I was 13 and have been working as a dog walker for 3 months. I am very attentive to the pets I care for both while boarding them and walking them. I make sure to give the pets I work with lots of affection. I always make sure I follow owners instructions very closely for feeding schedules, medication if needed, and walks. I make sure the pets I care for are active and entertained by playing with them and running with them. I understand that it’s nerve racking to trust someone to care for a furry best friend which is why I like to constantly check in with owners and keep them updated about how everything is going. I’m a very dedicated pet lover and caretaker and have great costumer service to make owners happy!

Just moved to the area and had to find a new sitter for about a 8 day business trip. Everything was fine except for one thing - my dog and his things stunk heavily of weed. I don’t care if someone smokes for their own needs, but when watching someone else’s dog (or anything else for that matter), you have to consider the health and preference of the dog and its owner. The smell was so strong and thick that we had no choice but to wash him and all his things right when we got home. I would have said and done the same if it was cigarette or cigar smell as strong as it was. The fact that it was weed, I had to monitor my dog to make sure he wasn’t reacting badly to the amount of smoke he was exposed to. He’s very sensitive to new things. If there are any issues, I will reach out to Rover to help with this unique situation. This is a first for me on Rover.
Allyson was very flexible and did a great job watching our kittens!
She was just fabulous with Mabel, who loved her right away! She had a great personality and we’ll be happy to have her back again!
Allyson was available to step in last minute when my regularly scheduled walker was unavailable. She took scout on a great walk in the snow & took nice pictures!

I don’t have any breed preferences and my apartment is spacious enough for bigger dogs. I would like to know if the dog enjoys trips to the dog park and if he/she is comfortable around other dogs. I would also like to know feeding schedule, walking schedule, extra needs for the dog, and if the dog has any guarding tissues with food or toys
A typical day
If given the “ok” from owners , I live near two dog parks, one of the parks has a running track to excercise your pup, I love to play fetch with pups and entertain them with toys!
