Pet care experience
I have been asked to pet sit for neighborhood families multiple times in the past. Everyone who knows me knows that I love and care for all animals, big and small, fuzzy or scaly. People know that when they choose me to pet sit their pet is being treated like a member of the family even while they are away. I also was a member of my local shelter's doggy day camp when I lived in Knoxville. This program was a volunteer project that took shelter dogs out and about for a day of love and fun! I have some experience with giving medications and injections to dogs, cats, and snakes. I also have experience with senior dogs (one of my own is nearly blind and deaf). I can take care of reptiles and mammals (anywhere from ferrets to puppies) and I am currently working towards becoming a certified veterinary technician to help better care for animals' needs.

Allyson was awesome! She watched my two dogs and cat for multiple days. She made sure they were well taken care of and kept in contact with me the whole time. She went above and beyond my expectations. My home was clean and my pets were happy. I will use her services again and would definitely recommend her.

There are a few nearby parks that my dog and I like to visit to get some exercise in. My dog Luna loves to play with other dogs and have fun! I am absolutely willing to do a little traveling and take your buddy to their favorite parks or even research to find new pet friendly spots for them to explore!

Communication about your animal's needs are very important!! Where is their favorite or least favorite place to be pet? How do they feel about other animals? Are they snippy with food? Being open and honest is the best way to keep pets comfortable and avoid unfortunate situations. I'm very open to working with animals that have some problems. Most things can be worked through with a heads up and by being respectful!
A typical day
Playing is one of my favorite parts of being a pet parent. Finding a game that they like is always so fun! Whether they like to play fetch, tag, or hunt, when an animal is having a good time it's hard to be anything but happy!

Availability
At the moment my schedule is completely free for any service required! If needed I can stay at your home and provide around the clock supervision or just stop by every few hours. I can provide your pet with walks, outtings, and playtime as often as you desire! I am open to flexible, short-term, long-term, and last minute requests, but clients that book first will get first priority.
