Pet care experience
I have been volunteering in shelters since the age of 13 and now my family fosters dogs regularly and truly love all breeds. From Great Danes to Chihuahuas, we’ve taken care of almost every size & temperament. I am very active and your dog will be treated like my own. Our home has an acre and 1/2 of fenced yard (6ft tall) and I go for hikes and walks daily. Your dog can sleep wherever he/she is most comfortable (their crate, a dog bed, or even a human bed!). They will get their own vacation while you vacation : ) I am comfortable with any age, breed and even special needs dogs. Our family does have a friendly senior female dog in our home, plus two young kids.

Ally was great. Great communication and her and her family obviously love dogs. She sent many pictures and videos of our dog to let us know how he was doing. He always looked happy and well cared for. Will definitely send our dog back to her again!

I also provide daily updates and photos so you know your dog is in the best hands.

A typical day
I love to visit the local parks and go hiking on the Mianus River Park trails or Greenwich Pinetum. My home is located in a quiet, private neighborhood great for long walks. Your dog can also spend lots of time in our yard which is fully fenced and has lots of nature and things to smell.

Availability
Someone is home almost all of the time so your dog will not be alone often. I have a fully fenced yard so potty breaks are frequent and your pup will be guaranteed at least two long walks/hikes a day, unless they prefer couch time.
