Pet care experience
I have worked/interned at Petsmart and the Buffalo Zoo. I am currently in my last semester in college getting my degree in animal behavior, ecology, and conservation. I have pet sat for many families and taken care of dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, birds, and reptiles. My responsibilities for these animals included giving flea and tick medication, general medication, feedings, playtime, multiple walks a day, cleaning up the yard, keeping good water levels, etc. I also have a fear free shelter certification.

Ally is wonderful! She’s friendly, very responsive, and took great care of our dogs while we were on vacation. She provided lots of updates and we knew they were in good hands. We will definitely use her again in the future and highly recommend!
Ally was wonderful and was excellent at communication. She sent photos of our two dachshunds daily and she communicated with us daily. I highly recommend her to watch your fur babies! She also was clean and watched the dogs in our house. 5/5!
Ally has worked with my dogs and birds for me a few times. Each time, she follows precise directions (even if I go overboard), she sends regular, on time updates on anything that is happening, and she is extremely reliable to show up on time and complete the pet sitting or walking as desired. I would highly recommend her.

When owners leave their pet with me I understand that it is all about trust that their pet will be in good hands. Many owners like me to come over prior to so I can meet their pet and get specific directions for caring for them as well as seeing where everything is. Every owner will have specific directions for how to take care of their pet and I make sure to follow those directions and consult them with any questions that might come up.I will never attempt to take care of a pet I am not comfortable with taking on and will always ask for clarification about how to do something I don’t know how to do. I also will send updates and photos as often as the owners would like so they have assurance that their pet is happy and healthy!

If the pet has any necessary medications that I would have to administer. If they have any specific routine that makes them feel comfortable with sitters. Any concerns that the owners might have prior to or anything about their pet that deviates from what a pet sitter would normally expect.
A typical day
When I sit I enjoy going on walks with the dogs I sit especially if the weather is nice. I spend time throwing toys for them and learning what toys they want to interact with. Also lots of love and petting.

Availability
After May 10th I will be finished with my last college semester and will have open availability until July. During July and August I will be working Monday - Friday 8am-4:15pm so I will only have the availability to cat sit as dogs need more time and attention throughout the day. After August my availability will go back to being very open since I will not be in school anymore!
