I am an avid animal lover and experienced vet nurse who always loves opening my heart to a new furry friend! I grew up pet sitting and volunteering with animals and entered the vet field after high school. Starting in shelter medicine I learned to care for animals of all different breeds, ages, and lifestyles. I have hands on experience with medical and behavioral special needs pets, so please talk to me if your furry baby may need extra tlc. After spending some time caring for various types of animals in the vet field, I decided to specialize in felines 🐈 I could never give up my love for dogs, and still always enjoy caring for them while pet sitting. I am cat friendly certified and have created a lovely cat friendly environment in my own home-I’d be happy to talk further about the “cat friendly” practice! Through my multiple years on rover, shelter fostering, professional and personal life, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for hundreds of different fur babies and I’m so excited to keep meeting more!

Ally was great! Very responsive to messages! It was my first time leaving my puppy and she made me feel very comfortable leaving her! Sent plenty of pics and updates. My baby seemed very comfortable after just a little bit! I will definitely be using her again!
Ally was absolutely amazing!! Louie, my dog, can be finicky but she was so kind and patient with him and I could tell he loved her! I’ll definitely be booking with Ally if possible in the future.

Stimulating dogs both physically and mentally is something that I love to do! If your dog is familiar, we can play in the dog park, go on hikes in upper park, or walks around the neighborhood. I also have a variety of puzzle engagement toys for dogs and love enrichment play time! I am also happy to hang out and cuddle if your pup is more of a couch potato! I have a multi-pet home consisting of some friendly cats and a dog. They all do wonderful welcoming new friends into our home, but are also content if your pet prefers to spend their time alone. For cats- During your cats stay they will probably spend most of their time in the “kitty kingdom”. This is a large bedroom dedicated to everything a cat might need to keep them entertained, comfortable, and happy! They can expect: multiple cat trees, tunnels, climbing objects, interactive and treat dispensing toys, water fountains, scratching posts, beds and hiding places, a TV for interactive cat videos, and large windows with lots of natural light! Your kitty is more than welcome to free-roam all throughout the house. Just a heads up, our kitty kingdom is on the second floor of our home which may cause free roaming hard for some cats.

Enough about me, I would love to hear about you and your furry friend! I am open to all breeds, ages, and lifestyles. I am always able to keep your cat separate from other animals in the home, but I do need a heads up about any known aggression to make safe and proper arrangements. Please let me know any of their favorites treats and types of toys to have on hand, and also a breakdown of their typical routine. I have worked with many animals that have both behavioral and physical disabilities so I am always open to taking on a fur baby who may need a little more attention. Please let me know AHEAD OF TIME if your pet may need extra care or attention, I cannot always accommodate this if I’m told the day of drop off.
A typical day
For dog sitting and walking- Stimulating dogs both physically and mentally is something that I love to do! If your dog is familiar, we can play in the dog park, go on hikes in upper park, or walks around the neighborhood. I also have a variety of puzzle engagement toys for dogs and love enrichment play time! A typical day at home with your kitty will include playtime with myself, other resident animals, sunbathing and relaxing nap time. I will also offer plenty of treats to reinforce positive behaviors and make your pet feel like they are part of the family. I also offer cat grooming and would be happy to discuss the options for your kitty. I am almost always able to do baths, brushing, and toenail trims. If you are looking for more advanced shaving, clipping, and grooming I’d be happy to discuss details.
